Dublin Bus Driver Vote On Strike Action

Staff at Dublin Bus have rejected a proposed pay cut and will now ballot on strike action.

Some 1,200 drivers with the firm are expected to have finished voting by the end of the week, according to trade union SIPTU.

It is understood that nine out of ten SIPTU members at Dublin Bus rejected the pay cut, saying that drivers could not afford any further reduction.
