Man Hit By Bus In Dublin City Centre
A man has been injured after being hit by a bus in Dublin city on Wednesday afternoon.
The unnamed pedestrian is understood to have been coming from Merrion Square on to baggot Street when he was hit by a private coach carrying a number of passengers.
It was reported that the coach stopped immediately and emergency services were called.
The man was transported to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
There have been no reports of traffic delays following the accident.

A man has presented himself to gardaí in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident on 30 September, following an appeal. In the incident an 87-year-old man was knocked from his wheelchair after being hit by a white lorry, which then failed to stop. The man died a short time later of his injuries.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.

Thousands Left Without Power
Around 3,000 homes and businesses are without power following a night of extreme weather. Strong winds battered many parts of the country, with the southwest, west and northwest hit worst. Engineers are working to reconnect power but are understood to be hampered by the ongoing weather conditions.

A man has been arrested in connection with a suspect hit-and-run in Co Fermanagh. Patrick McCaffrey was killed on the Tullychurry Road at around 3am on Sunday. The man arrested has been taken to Ballyshannon Garda Station for questioning after he was detained by officers in Co Donegal.
