Gardaí Confirm Kerry Mother And Daughter Were Murdered
It has been confirmed that gardaí are treating the deaths of a mother and daughter in Co Kerry as murder.
Named as Jolanta Lubiene (27) and her daughter Enrika (8), their bodies were found at their home in Killorglin on Sunday night.
A post-mortem examination has confirmed that they were stabbed to death.
It has been reported that the body of Ms Lubiene was found in the kitchen of the house, while the body of her daughter Enrika was found her bedroom upstairs.
According to the Irish Times, there was no signs of forced entry into the house and no evidence of anything have been stolen.
A major investigation is now underway.

The two bodies were discovered in a house in Langford Downs Estate on 16 June. A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The search for a woman and her baby daughter has ended, with gardaí reporting they have been found "safe and well". An operation had been launched and an appeal for information issued for the whereabouts of 27-year-old Samantha McClorey and her three-month daughter Sienna Rose.
