Irish Firm Wins €15m China Contract
Irish agricultural firm, Richard Keenan & Co, has secured a €15m contract to supply a Chinese company with hi-tech feeding machinery over the next three years.
The Borris, Co Carlow-based company said the contract almost four-years of work in the Far East, according to the Irish Independent.
The agricultural company produce feeding machine and have developed a computer programme to improve production.
A delegation, including China’s Vice-Agriculture Minister Zhang Taolin, visited the company's premises yesterday to see the system in action.

Abbott Laboratories, one of the largest US multinationals in Ireland, is expected to announce the job cuts in its Irish operations later today. It is understood to be planning a meeting with staff this afternoon to outline details of the cuts.
