10gen Opens Its EMEA Headquarters

10gen, the MongoDB company, officially opened its EMEA headquarters in Dublin today and launched a recruitment campaign for positions in Engineering, Sales, HR, Legal and Finance.

The company announced the creation of 60 jobs in January of this year with the support of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland. The launch was attended by the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore T.D.

To accommodate its rapidly growing team in Dublin, 10gen has moved into an office development in Latin Hall, at the heart of Dublin city centre. With a floor space of 4,500 square feet, it will accommodate the first stage of 10gen’s expansion with a potential capacity of up to 48 people.

Speaking at today’s official opening, the Tánaiste said: "10gen is a highly innovative and fast-growing company. The opening of a new and larger headquarters for its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa is great news for the city and the sector, and shows once again that harnessing Irish talent is a key element in the international strategies of the emerging wave of leading worldwide companies.

"Our Dublin expansion is a true testament to the increasing adoption of MongoDB, and the growing demand for cutting edge technical skills in the region," said Max Schireson, CEO of 10gen. "Our EMEA headquarters is very close to leading educational institutions which makes it an ideal location to recruit young, talented graduates who are serious about building a career in technology."
