NCA Survey On Car Insurance Quotes Welcomed

Phil Prendergast MEP has welcomed the release of a National Consumer Agency (NCA) survey on car insurance quotes.

She said: "This survey demonstrates the power of the consumer and provides hard-core evidence that there are savings to be made on insurance, which is a significant expense for every household, especially in difficult times.

"Shopping around for car insurance clearly does allow a consumer to get the best deal they can. My hope is that news of this survey will entice more people to shop around and locate their best option.

"It is also fantastic to hear that female and male drivers are being quoted equally following the EU Gender Directive."
