Man Critically Injured After Being Hit By A Car In Cork

Gardai in Cork are appealing for witnesses after a man was critically injured after being struck by a car yesterday morning.

The accident happened at approximately 1.30am as the 21-year-old was walking on the main N25 Cork to Midleton dual carriageway.

The 20-year-old woman who was driving the car was not injured, however she was badly shaken and treated for shock at the scene.

Than remains in a critical condition in Cork University Hospital.
