IMC Finds 'Exceptionally High' Levels Of Gold In Wexford

The IMC Exploration Group says it has discovered "exceptionally high" levels of gold, which could be worth tens of millions of euro, in north County Wexford.

According to the expolration firm the amount of gold found could lead to a gold mine being opened in the area in future years.

IMC Director told RTE News: The concentration of gold per tonne in the sample we have had assayed is 11.3 ounces.

"11 ounces is 354 grammes, so it's a very significant high level, high grade find."
