Man Arrested In Connection With Dunne Murder

A man in his 20's has been arrested in connection with the killing of Eamon Dunne on 23rd April, 2010.

Mr Dunne was shot outside the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra, Dublin.

The man is being detained at Mountjoy garda station under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

A man in his mid 30s has been arrested in connection with the murder of Eamonn Dunne on 23rd April 2010. He was arrested in the Dublin area earlier this morning. Mr Dunne was fatally shot in the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra.

Life Sentence For IRA Hitman Who Killed Innocent Man
The Special Criminal Court has heard that the victim of an IRA hitman was never involved in any criminal or subversive activity and was "totally blameless" and "wholly innocent." The comments were made as 50-year-old Rose Lynch was jailed for life for the murder of David Darcy in November 2011.

Following a nine-week sentence for contempt of court, businessman Seán Quinn has been released from Mountjoy Prison. Mr Quinn was released from the training unit in the prison shortly after 9am on Thursday.

Business Tycoon In Contempt Of Court
Businessman Sean Quinn, his son Sean and nephew Peter Darragh have all been found in contempt of court and may face "punitive and coercive" sanctions. They were found to have defied an order at the High Court in Dublin over the family's international property portfolio.

Two Arrested Over 'Don' Murder
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of crime lord Eamon 'the Don' Dunne in April. Gardai investigating the fatal shooting of the notorious Eamon Dunne in Dublin said they had this morning arrested two men aged in their 20s.
