Man Arrested In Connection With The Death Of Siobhan Stapelton

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 51-year-old Siobhan Stapelton on 25th May.

She was found at her house in Glebe Lodge Kilfane, Thomastown, with severe head injuries and was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.

The man, in his 30's, was arrested in the Thomastown area and is being detained at Thomastown Garda station.

Man Arrested Following Death Of A Man In Phoenix Park
A second man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with the murder of a man in the Phoenix Park on Friday. The man is currently being held at Finglas Garda Station. The victim is believed to have been attacked and set alight in a sleeping bag.

Man Arrested After Dutch Man Is Found Stabbed To Death
A man, 41, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Kamal El Habsati. Mr Habsati's body was discovered at an apartment in Ballymun on 5th December. He was a Dutch Citizen of Morrocan descent. The man is being held at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Six Men Arrested In Organised Crime Investigation
Six men have been arrested by gardai investigating organised crime in County Kilkenny. The arrested were made during searches co-ordinated by Thomastown Garda Station. A number of items were also seized during the operation. The men are being held in garda stations in Thomastown, Waterford and Wexford.
