Motorcyclist Killed In Galway Crash

A male motorcyclist has died after a road crash in County Galway on Sunday.

Gardaí in Tuam Co Galway said they are investigating the single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Killavoher, Dunmore, Co Galway at approximately 5.15pm.

The 36-year-old male motorcyclist was fatally injured when his motorcycle struck a bridge at Killavoher. His body has been removed to University Hospital Galway.

The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093-70840, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone

Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Two Die In Motorcycle Collision In Co Clare
Two people have died in a collision between two motorcycles in Co Clare. According to Gardaí, a group of three motorcycles, each carrying two people, were travelling in one direction on N67 Ennistymon Road at about 18:45 on Thursday. At the same time, a lone motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction.
