Man Arrested Over Cannabis Find
A man has been arrested during a drug seizure and at the Swan, Laois on Tuesday evening.
Gardai from Abbeyleix Garda Station said they have arrested a man in his 40's and seized a quantity of cannabis plants in a planned search of a house on the 31st January.
The search took place at 9pm at a house in Clarmallagh, The Swan, Co. Laois and Gardai seized up to 100 cannabis plants with a street value, pending analysis, of €40,000. The plants were being cultivated at the house.
A man in his 40's was arrested at the scene and he is currently detained at Portlaoise Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.

Woman Arrested Following Cannabis Find
A woman has been arrested after a cannabis growhouse was discovered by gardai in County Carlow. The plants, believed to be worth approximately €250,000, were found during a planned search of a house yesterday. The woman, in her 40's, is being questioned at Carlow garda station.

A man has been arrested following a drugs seizure in Dublin. The raid was carried out at Grafton Hall, Aungier Street, in the south of the city at around 11.45pm on Saturday. Gardaí have said a grow house was discovered at the premises and 101 cannabis plants were seized. They are thought to have an estimated value of €80,000.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

A man has been arrested following a drugs seizure in Cork at around 10.30pm on Wednesday night. Around €58,000 worth of cannabis plants and equipment were found during the search of a house in Mallow. He is currently being questioned at Mallow garda station.
