5K Cannibas Plants Seized In Tullamore
A large amount of drugs have been seized and three men have been arrested during an operation in Tullamore.
Gardai in the area said the search took place at a warehouse at Aughnacarna, Durrow, Tullamore, County Offally at 9.30pm.
Gardai discovered a large cannabis cultivation operation at the warehouse.
Five thousand cannabis plants have been recovered(estimated street value pending analysia €1.5 million).
Three non Irish nationals, all males, were arrested at the scene, one ages 30 years and two in their 20s.
They are detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Tullamore Garda Station.

Man Arrested Following Cannabis Find
Gardai have arrested a man after 300 cannabis plants, worth around €250,000, were seized in Co Offaly. The plants were found at a house at Coolcur in Rhode on Wednesday. A 50-year-old male is currently being detained at Tullamore Garda Station.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Women Arrested Over Emily Barut Murder
Gardaí have arrested a woman in her 50s this morning as part of an investigation into the murder of Emily Barut. 11-year-old Emily died at her home on Bachelors Walk, Tullamore on 15 September 2012. The woman is due to appear at Tullamore District this morning at 10:30 charged in relation to the investigation.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.
