Appeal For Person Missing In Navan

An appeal has been launched for the whereabouts of a man in 50s who has went missing from his home in County Meath.

Gardai in Navan said they are appealing for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Tony McLoughlin, aged 57, who is missing from his home at Athlumney Abbey, Navan since around 1pm on Monday January 16.

Tony is described as 5'6'' in height, of slim build with grey hair. When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and a brown waist length jacket.

He is on medication for a recent illness and left home without this medication. Gardaí are concerned for his safety.

Garda Appeal For Help With Missing Teenager
Garda are appealing for information to help trace a missing 16-year-old girl. Sheena O’Connor has been missing from Navan since Sunday 10 Febraury. She is described as 5”2’, of average build with very long coppery/brown hair (normally worn in a bun), with blue eyes and a pale complexion.

Hunt For Woman Missing In Meath
A hunt has been launched to find a woman missing from her home in Meath. Margaret Mawhinney, 53, has gone missing from her home at Trim Road in Navan, Co. Meath. She is originally from Co Armagh. A spoesman for Gardaí said Margaret's family are very concerned for her safety.

Gardaí Appeal For Help To Trace Missing Navan Man
Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing 42-year-old Iduwu Soyemi, who has been missing for more than a month. Mr Soyemi was last seen at Windtown in Navan on the evening of Saturday 28 February. When last seen he was wearing a striped shirt, a blue jumper, black trousers and blue runners.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Man, 63, Dies After Meath Assault
A 63-year-old man has died in hospital after an assault in County Meath over the weekend. A postmortem is due to be carried out today on the body of the man who is understood to be a bachelor from Athlone. He passed away yesterday afternoon at Beaumont Hospital. He was found unconscious by a taxi driver at around 12.
