Man Arrested After Car Is Located

Gardai have arrested a man after issuing an urgent appeal to locate a Blue Nissan Almera.

The three other occupants in the car, believed to children, are safe.

Gardaí located the car in the Rathnew area following a short pursuit.

The man has been conveyed to Wicklow Garda Station.

14-Year-Old Boy Rescued Following Kidnapping In Finglas
A 14-year-old boy was rescued from the boot of a car after being abducted by a group of men. A 20-year-old man was arrested by armed gardaí officers who began chasing a vehicle driving erratically shortly after reports that a child had been abducted on Hazelcroft Road in Finglas.

A man and woman have been arrested after a quantity of cannabis herb was seized following a stop and search of a vehicle in Ballymote yesterday evening (Monday 9 September). Gardaí stopped a car on the N4, Castlebaldwin, Ballymote, Co Sligo.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Man Arrested After Gardaí Car Rammed
A man has been arrested after a Garda car was rammed during a chase in Dublin last night. Gardaí in Rathfarnham attempted to stop a car at Daltree Place, Ballycullen at about 10.15pm last night, a Garda spokesman said. "During the course of this operation the Audi car rammed the Garda patrol car.

Two Arrested In €100k Drug Haul
Two men have been arrested following a €100,000 drug haul in Tipperary. The men were arrested and the drugs were seized after police attempted to stop a car at Pouldine, Thurles. The car failed to stop but was successfully halted a short distance away on the fly over of the Cork/Dublin motorway.
