Beyonce Added To Oxegen Line-Up

The Oxegen festival has announced that the queen of R'n'B, Beyonce, is to appear at the Punchestown festival this summer.

The multi award winning singer will be joining Foo Fighters, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, The Strokes, The Script, Arctic Monkeys
and many more during the festival taking place on 7-10 July.

Beyonce's appearance is Irish fans' first chance to see the artist since her sold out run of shows at The O2 in 2009.

With over 75 million worldwide album sales as a solo artist alone, Beyoncé is now one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Making the announcement, Oxegen's Festival Director John Probyn said: "We're always striving to bring the biggest and best music talent to Oxegen and they really don’t come any bigger than Beyoncé.

"She is a truly incredible artist and an amazing live performer. This year we've got most of the artists headlining the UK's major festivals on one bill - it's all about giving fans real value for money and delivering an unforgettable experience."

Since 2009 Oxegen has been not only the largest music festival in Ireland, but a 100% carbon neutral event, making it also the greenest festival in Ireland - so you can check out your favourite bands with a clean conscience.

Tickets for Oxegen 2011 are on sale now from €99.50. For full details, see oxegen.ie.
