The arrest follows a search carried out the previous day when, as part of the same ongoing investigation, officers searched a property in the Bushy Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 on Monday afternoon.

During the search of an address in the area, Gardai at Kevin Street discovered two shotguns, an amount of ammunition and balaclavas.
