Second Teen Arrested In Connection With Aggravated Burglary
Gardaí investigating an aggravated burglary in which a gang threatened to cut off a woman's fingers in front of her son, have arrested a 16-year-old male.
The teenager has been charged with aggravated burglary and being a passenger in a stolen car at Belfry Green, he is the second teenager to be arrested in connection with the crime.
It is understood that a woman was at home with her 10-year-old son when a gang forced its way into her house at about 07:50am on 11 November.
Restraining the woman and child the gang threatened to cut off the mothers fingers and then move on to her son.
The crime has been described as a "horrific ordeal of violence".
The gang many off with an estimated €30,800, along with a BMW car and other items.
The teenager was denied bail and has been remanded in custody.

New Expanded Search Launched For Missing Dublin Men

Men Arrested Over Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €1.5m has been seized by gardai in Dublin. Two vehicles were stopped at the Morthwest Business Park, Dublin 15, as part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal gang based in Tallaght.

Man Injured In Shooting
A man in his 30s has been injured in a shooting in Galsnevin. RTÉ have reported that the man is thought to have been outside a gym on the Ballyboggan Road when he was shoot four times on Wednesday morning. It is understood that the victim is a father-of-three who is known to garda and had been warned that his life was in danger.

Three Arrested After Armoured Van Robbery
Three people are being held after a cash-in-transit van was stolen in Drogheda, Co Louth on Thursday morning. At 10.00am, Gardaí received a call to say a van was being held-up by an armed gang outside a shop at Bryanstown, Drogheda. The group stole the security van and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A notorious Dublin gang leader has fled the country after a hand grenade was thrown into his house. During the attack on Saturday morning, a red Fiat Punto pulled up to the house and a male ran to the front door, threw a rock through the window breaking the glass, followed by the grenade.
