Witnesses Sought After Shooting At Dublin Pub

Gardaí in Dublin have appealed for witnesses to a double shooting in a Dublin pub on Saturday night.

It is understood that two men were shot as they played pool at about 22:00 on Saturday night at the Oil Can Harry's pub on Lower Mount Street.

Gardaí say they are treating the attack, carried out by two gunmen, as attempted murder.

The two victims are being treated in hospital, where their conditions are described as serious, but not life threatening.

The pub remains sealed off to allow for a complete forensic investigation.

Gardaí appealed to anyone who was in the pub at the time of the shooting to contact Pearse Street Gardaí Station.
