Man Dies In Drowning Incident
A man, thought to be in his 20s, has died after he fell into the River Finn at Cloghan, Donegal.
The victim is understood to have been fishing before the incident occurred.
Gardaí said the man was with a group of people when he fell into the water at around 11.45am at The Salmon Leap, Cloghan.
Malin Head Coastguard were alerted and scrambled a rescue helicopter to assist with the search.
His body was recovered from the water on Monday evening.
It is the second drowning incident to have occurred in two days. On Sunday, a 69-year-old woman died following at accident at Dromineer on Lough Derg, County Tipperary.
The woman is understood to have been walking to a boat moored at Dromineer Marina when she fell into the water. A person with her attempted a rescue and emergency services were called.
The RNLI arrived and managed to get the woman from the water.
She was taken to University Hospital Limerick but was later pronounced dead.

The government has been accused of putting lives at risk with its "failure" to put in place a 21st century water treatment system. Sinn Féin Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh made the comment following the publication of the Environmental Protection Agency's Urban Waste Water Report for 2014.
