Garda Appeal For Information After Woman Found With Serious Injuries
Gardaí have appealed for information following the discovery of a woman with serious injuries in the early hours of Sunday, 08 May.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was found suffering serious injuries at Lohunda Dale, Clonsilla, Dublin 15, at about 3:40am on Sunday morning.
The woman is being treated at Beaumont Hospital where her condition is described as critical.
It is understood that the investigation is exploring the possibility that this woman may be the victim of a hit and run road traffic collision.
Investigators have established that the woman had travelled from Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 in a taxi to the Lohunda area prior to her discovery and are seeking to identify the driver of this taxi, which is not better described.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who may have been in the Lohunda Estate/Ongar Distributor Road area between 3.15am and 4.15am Sunday morning, 08 May 2016 to contact them at Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 6667000, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Killygordon, Co Donegal. The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January. A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.

Garda in Cavan have arrested two men and a woman in connection with a suspected assault on a 55-year-old man in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to garda the victim was found at about 03:00 at the Stonebridge apartments suffering serious injuries. Two men and woman were subsequently arrested in connection with the suspected assault.
