Man Dies In Blarney Road Crash
A man has been killed in a two vehicle road crash that occurred between Parkanna Cross Rd and Davis Cross on the Blarney to Bweeng Road at approximately 11.30am on Tuesday.
The man in his 20's was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Girl In Serious Condition Following Road Accident
A young girl remains in a serious condition in hospital following a road accident on Monday, according to Garda. It is understood the girl was hit by a car on the Ballybay to Swans Cross Road, at Cortubber in Ballybay just before 20:00. She was airlifted to Temple Street Hospital. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyine, Co Carlow at 12.45am this morning. A man of 68 was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall. He was brought to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A man has died in a road crash in Waterford. The collision, between a truck and a car, happened on the N25 just after Kilmacthomas at around 7.50am on Tuesday, 10 May. The man, aged in his late 20's, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck did not require medical attention.
