Man's Body Discovered In Enniscorthy

Gardaí at Enniscorthy are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery a man's body.

The 38-year-old man was found in an apartment at a complex at Carrigtur, Springvalley, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Gardaí were notified shortly after 8.30am this morning.

A man in his mid 30's has been arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained at Enniscorthy Garda Station.

The scene is currently preserved and the State Pathologist has been advised and is en route.

There is no further information at this time.

Two Die On Louth And Wexford Roads
A cyclist and a pedestrian have been killed after being hit by cars in Counties Louth and Wexford. A man in his 50s died while cycling when he was hit by a 4x4 at Annaghvacky, Hackballscross, Dundalk, at 4.20pm yesterday. A Garda spokesperson said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Woman Killed In Road Crash In County Wexford
A 48-year-old woman has been killed in a car crash at Tinnock, Oulart, Co Wexford this morning. The collision, which occurred at around 8.30am, involved three vehicles. The womans body has been removed to Wexford General Hospital. Both drivers of the other vehicles received minor injuries.

Appeal Issued For Missing Co Wexford Teenager
Gardaí in Co Wexford are appealing for help in tracing 17-year-old Starr Carew. The teenager has been missing since 13 February, when she was last seen in the Gimount area of Enniscorthy, at approximately 17:00. She is described as approximately 5'4" tall, of slight build with long blond hair, blue eyes and fair complexion.
