Two bodies found dead at Harrogate house
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of two bodies in a house in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The bodies of a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were found after officers forced their way into a house in Slingsby Crescent in the town on Wednesday night.
It is understood that both bodies were found in the bedroom - the woman was on the bed, while the man was found hanged in the same room.
It is understood that the woman lived in the house and that her boyfriend visited frequently.
A neighbour told reporters that police were often seen at the property as the couple often argued.
The woman had reportedly not been seen since Monday when shouting was heard at the house.
The bodies have not yet been formally identified and post-mortem examinations are due to take place on Thursday.
The house has been sealed off and police said that the deaths are being treated as suspicious.

A man has been arrested following the discovery of the bodies of a man and woman in a house in Sheffield. The bodies of the 34-year-old woman and 46-year-old man were found in a ground floor room of the house in Wath Road, in the Nether Edge area of the city, shortly after 10.30pm on Monday night.
