Four killed in Worcestershire car crash

Four teenagers have been killed when their car left the A449 near Worcester and hit a tree.

Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and fourth died at Worcestershire Royal Hospital shortly after being taken there.

West Mercia Police said that two males aged 18, and two girls aged 17 and 16 had died when the car crashed at around 9.15pm on Sunday evening between Ombersley and Worcester.

A police spokesperson said that no further details were available as formal identifications had not yet been made.

The road was reopened this morning following the completion of investigations at the scene.

Four young children travelling with their parents, died on the M6 in Cheshire after their car burst into flames following a crash involving three lorries and two cars.

Police investigate suicide cause for rail crash
The high-speed train crash that killed seven and injured scores of passengers may have been as a result of the car driver’s attempt to commit suicide. All the carriages of the train which was carrying some 300 passengers were completely derailed when it hit a car at a level crossing near the village of Ufton Nervet in Berkshire on Saturday.

Police Name Men Found Dead In Car
Two men who were found with fatal stab wounds in a car in east London at the weekend have been named by police. They were Aaron Carriere, 21, and 20-year-old Josiah Manful, and both men were from east London. The pair were found by officers in a vehicle just before 1am on Saturday morning on Montague Road, Leytonstone.
