'Plan Ahead' For St Patrick's Day Events This Weekend
Belfast City Council has outlined traffic and travel arrangements ahead of this Sunday's St Patrick's Day event in Belfast.
A number of traffic diversions will be in place in and around Belfast city centre. Visitors and participants are advised to plan their journey in advance and leave extra time to travel to and from the city centre.

Woman Dies After Car And Tram Collide
A woman has died after a tram and car collided in Dublin city centre. The victim, understood to be a pedestrian, was said to have been struck by the car after it collided with a Luas. The incident happened at the junction of Jervis Street and Abbey Street Upper at around 8.45am on Monday. The woman, in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arrests Made In City Assault Case
Gardaí investigating a number of assaults in Dublin City Centre in October 2010 have this morning arrested an 18-year-old man. Detectives at Pearse Street are continuing with investigations into a number of assaults which occurred in Dublin City Centre on Sunday morning 10th October 2010.

Eight Arrested As Gardaí Swoop Targets Thieves
Gardaí searched 19 premises on Wednesday morning arresting eight individuals as part of an ongoing operation into organised criminality in the city centre area. Swooping in as part of Operation Hawkeye 2, which has been running for almost two months, the operation has been directed primarily against personal theft and other theft offences.
