Seven More Questioned Over Alleged Racist Chants
Police investigating racist and homophobic chants at a football match between Portsmouth FC and Tottenham Hotspur have questioned a further seven people.
Hampshire Police released images of 16 men believed to have shouted the abuse at Portsmouth star Sol Campbell.
The seven suspects were identified by police as a result, and they will be attending a police station in Hampshire to be questioned, after being recognised in CCTV footage.
Two people have been bailed after questioning.
A police spokesman said: "Officers have received a steady stream of information and names. However, they are keen to stress that they would like to hear from anyone who recognises the remaining seven people."
Campbell, who left Spurs on a free transfer to north London rivals Arsenal, in 2001, before joining in Portsmouth in 2006 received prolonged abuse during the game.
The offence of indecent or racist chanting at a designated football match under the Football Offences Act 1991 can be punishable by a fine of up to £1,000. It can also lead to a football banning order.

Riot Police Deployed As G8 Protesters Occupy Former Police Station
Some 100 riot police have been deployed in central London as protestors take to the streets to demonstrate ahead on the G8 summit being held in Northern Ireland next week. Officers were sent to Soho, where protesters are thought to have occupied a former police station on Beak Street.

Police investigating the alleged fraudulent sale of Rangers Football Club in 2011 have arrested four men. Officers from Police Scotland, Surrey Police, Cheshire Police and Thames Valley Police, carried out a joint operation that saw four addresses across the UK raided at the same time.

Best released on police bail
Former Manchester United and Northern Ireland football star George Best has been released on police bail following questioning over an alleged assault. Mr Best, who apparently walked voluntarily into Staines police station in Surrey, denies striking 34-year-old Vicky Pope who is an acquaintance of his former lover Gina Devivo.

Scottish police have confirmed that three forces will team up to investigate the murders of seven young women. Detectives believe that the series of murders, which took place over a four-year period from 1977 to 1980, are related.
