More heavy rain forecast for weekend
Already inundated with heavy rainfall in the last week parts of Britain are bracing for yet more heavy rain.
The current forecast is for up to 50mm of rain as the Met Office has issued a severe weather warning.
Rainfall of between 15 to 25 mm are expected aross England and Wales, but there is a risk that that it could reach 50 mm, with the heaviest on Saturday across eastern England. Unsettled weather conditions are forecast to continue into next week.
Following the rain last week a clear up operation compared with the biggest since wartime.
The search for a man reported to have fallen into water from a dyke in Doncaster has been called off as it is thought to be a false alarm.
The M1 has been reopened as work continues to relieve the pressure on the weakened dam of the Ulley Reservoir.
Four people have lost their lives following the flooding.

Britain Braced For More Bad Weather
Britain is facing yet more bad weather as the Met Office is forecasting gales and heavy rain across the UK this week. Forecasters say that the worst of the weather is likely to be across the western half of the UK with between 30mm and 60mm of rain expected over some upland areas of England and Wales on Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Severe Weather Conditions Hit The UK
Storms, snow, heavy downpours and strong winds are sweeping across the UK today, as the country braces itself for severe weather conditions. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are bearing the brunt of the bad weather, but the Met Office has warned that no region is likely to escape the wintry conditions.
