Image released in Manchester rape case
Police have released a CCTV image of a man that they want to speak to in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Greater Manchester.
The attack happened on May 29. The girl got on the 256 bus at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre at 9:50pm and got off the bus on Lostock Road in Urmston, where she started speaking to a man.
She walked with the man along Canterbury Road, towards Davyhulme Park, where the man forced her into a wooded area opposite the playground and raped her.
The offender then left the area at around 11pm.
The victim then ran onto Crofts Bank Road and flagged down a passing private hire taxi who took her back to Stretford.
Police have appealed for the taxi driver to come forward. He is described as being Asian or mixed race, with long wavy hair and facial stubble. He was driving a silver car with a taxi light on the roof.
Police have also appealed for anyone who remembers being on the 256 bus that evening, particularly a man caught on CCTV boarding the bus.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
