Killer's home searched in hunt for missing teenager
The former home of convicted sex killer Peter Tobin is being searched as part of an inquiry into the disappearance of Scottish teenager Vicky Hamilton.
Vicky, 15, was last seen waiting for a bus in Bathgate, West Lothian in February 1991.
Tobin, who is currently serving a 21-year sentence for the murder of Angelika Kluk in Glasgow last year, lived in Bathgate around the time of Vicky's disappearance.
The 60-year-old has already been quizzed about Vicky's disappearance.
He was jailed for murdering and raping Polish student Angelika, 23, last year and dumping her body underneath floorboards at St Patrick's Church in Glasgow.
The current residents at Tobin's former home have moved out while forensic teams search the property.
Specially trained police dogs that can detect minute traces of blood, even if it is decades old, are being used during the search.

The man accused of the murder of teenager Vicky Hamilton has been attacked in prison by an inmate. Peter Tobin, 61, who is being held at Saughton jail in Edinburgh, was due in court on Thursday to face charges relating to the murder of the 15-year-old Scottish schoolgirl.

Human remains discovered at a house in Kent are those of missing Scottish teenager Vicky Hamilton, it has been confirmed. Lothian and Borders Police confirmed that the body was that of the 15-year-old who disappeared from Bathgate in February 1991.
