Memorial service planned for July 7 victims
The Government has announced plans to hold a memorial service for the victims of the July 7 bomb attacks in London.
The national memorial service will be held on Tuesday 1 November at St Paul's Cathedral in London and the inter-denominational service will be attended by representatives of the main faith groups and emergency services.
It is understood that the Queen, Prime Minister Tony Blair, the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and political leaders will be attending the service.
The Government said that as well as remembering the victims of the London bombings, the service would also "recognise the impact the events have had on London."
Invitations to family members of the victims and those injured in the attacks will be sent out shortly and full details of the service will be made known later.
The four blasts in the July 7 London Bombings killed 52 people, including four suicide bombers, and injured over 300 people.

The BBC has outlined its plans to become "more open and more distinctive" in the future. The proposals are said to herald "a fundamental change of approach for the Corporation", and will reveal how the broadcasters' services will adapt and change in order to meet audience needs for the next decade.

BBC Trust Approve Gaelic Digital Service
The BBC Trust’s decision to approve proposals for a Gaelic Digital Service has been welcomed by Gaelic Media Service (GMS) and BBC Scotland. GMS and BBC Scotland will now begin the process of implementing their joint plans for the launch of the new service.
