Man killed in alleged axe attack
A man has died after reportedly being attacked with an axe on a street in north London.
Police were called to the scene in Eton Avenue, around 9:30am, following reports of a serious and violent incident outside a house.
The body of a man in his sixties was found. It has been reported that the man died from serious head injuries. There have been reports from eyewitnesses that an axe, possibly medieval, was used in the attack, but police have yet to confirm this.
A man, who is believed to be in his thirties, has been arrested and is currently being held at a London police station.
Forensic examinations are reportedly under way at the scene.
