Man charged over hit and run incident

An 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody following a hit-and-run incident in Belfast city centre last week.

Stephen Gerard O'Hagan, of Norglen Parade, is accused of the attempted murder of a man who tried to stop a car being stolen in Academy Street. He is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm of the woman who owned the car and robbery.

A detective constable told today’s court in Belfast that Mr O’Hagan made no reply when charged. He was remanded in custody until the 5 April.

Man Arrested In Connection With Sean Fox Murder Investigation
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of Sean Fox in west Belfast in 2022 have arrested a 40-year-old man. The man was arrested following searches in west Belfast this morning, 1 February. The suspect was arrested under the Terrorism Act, and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.
