Missing man may be in Northern Ireland say police

Police in Lancashire are appealing for witnesses into the whereabouts of a 62-year-old man who went missing last month.

Frederick Hankinson is believed to be in Northern Ireland after his grey Ford Mondeo car was found parked in the Stena Line ferry terminal in Stranraer on Monday 4th August. He went missing from his Lancashire home the day before.

Mr Hankison is described as 5'7" in height, of broad build with short grey hair.

Anyone who may have been in and around the Stranraer terminal on the 4th August is asked to contact detectives on 01772 614444.

Police Issue Fresh Appeal For Witnesses To Banbridge Shooting
A man shot in the abdomen in a Banbridge car park on Friday, 12 April, remains in a critical condition in hospital. The man, aged in his 40s, was shot as he sat in a car by a masked man. Detectives investigating a shooting in the Rathfriland Road area returned to the scene on the evening of Friday, 19 April.

Three In Hospital After Police Vehicle Collides With Another Vehicle
Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April. It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.
