Family escape injury in bomb attack
A couple and their two children have escaped injury following a bomb attack at their home in west Belfast this morning.
Zoe McQuade, 22, her boyfriend, her five-year-old son and one-year-old baby were asleep upstairs when the device was thrown at the front of their Highfield estate home at around 5.20am on Wednesday.
When Ms McQuade went to investigate she found her front door and window smashed while nails were strewn across the street.
Police have yet to establish a motive for the attack.

Investigation Launched Into Petrol Bomb Attack In Ballymena
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a petrol bomb incident in the Queen Street area of Ballymena. Shortly before 10.15pm on Monday, March 4, it was reported that two petrol bombs were thrown through the living room window of a house in the area. Neither of the petrol bombs ignited.

Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March. It was reported that at around 2.10am on Tuesday morning, two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the Castlewellan Road area, causing scorch damage to the wall and a window frame.

The Londonderry home of a senior Sinn Féin member was pelted with petrol bombs during the early hours of this morning. Mitchel McLaughlin (pictured) said those behind the attack are attempting to intimidate him and his family. Two device were thrown at the Bogside property at around 1am, causing scorch damage to exterior walls.

Petrol bomb attack on County Antrim home
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a house in County Antrim yesterday evening. Following a detailed forensic examination of the scene earlier today, police have confirmed that the remains of two petrol bombs were found. The devices have since been removed for further examination.

The device was thrown at a house in the Glenalena Park area of the city at around 4.30 this morning, however it failed to ignite. A wheelie bin was also set alight in a nearby entry. No one was injured in the incident.
