Appeal Over Halifax Sex Assault

Police in Halifax are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Hanson Lane, Pellon. The 34-year-old victim was walking her Rottweiler dog between 5am and 6am on September 14, when she was approached by a man who appeared to be under the influence of drink and drugs. She offered him assistance, but he physically assaulted her and subjected her to a sexual assault in St Augustine's Park. The woman received minor injuries in the attack, but police said that she was left badly traumatised. The man is described as being Asian, aged between 25 to 28 and around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with distinctive eyes and short, black hair. Fresh Appeal Over Missing Girl

Police in Lincolnshire have said they are "extremely concerned" about the whereabouts of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for two weeks. Brianny Webster went missing from her home in Gainsborough on September 1. Police have now said that they believe she may be in the company of an adult who may harm her. Chief Inspector Kieran English said: "We are talking about an extremely vulnerable young girl who has been missing for 14 days. She left her home in Gainsborough with no money and no change of clothes and she has no access to a bank account. We now also believe it is possible she could be in the company of an inappropriate adult who may cause her significant harm. Our investigations, which have included exhaustive enquiries and the searching of a number of addresses, suggest she could either be in Lincoln, Sheffield or Nottingham, so we need people in those places to keep their eye out for her and to call us immediately if they see her." Missing Man 'May Be In Stourport Area'

Police are trying to find a man who has been missing since August have said that they believe he may be in the Stourport area. Antoni Walker, 49, has been missing from his home in Nottingham Road, Spondon, Derby since August 19. Police said that they believe he was seen in the Stourport area at the beginning of September, but he has so far not been found. They also said that it was out of character for him to behave this way and that his wife was concerned for his safety. Mr Walker is described as 6ft tall and of heavy build. He has short grey hair and tattoos on his arms, chest and back. He was last seen wearing a dark grey T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
