Missing Boy Found Safe And Well

A four-year-old boy who was reported missing this week has been found safe and well.

The child was found by police in Doncaster on Thursday evening.

He had been in the foster care of Darren and Marcia Langton in Skegness, but was due to be returned to Newham Children's Services on Tuesday.

Police confirmed that Mrs Langton was with him and she has been arrested and taken back to Skegness police station.

Her husband is still being sought by police. Mr Langton, 40, is described as white and slim, with short dark hair.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Man's Body Found Impaled On Railings In West London
The body of a man has been found impaled on railings in west London. Police believe the man may have slipped while attempting to climb the railings in Kensington. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

EHRC To Investigate Met Following Discrimination Case
An investigation has been launched after a tribunal found that the Metropolitan Police deliberately re-wrote an internal report. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has launched its investigation against the force after a tribunal found that PC Carol Howard was discriminated against on the grounds of sex and race.
