Appeal Over Missing Couple And Foster Son

Police in Lincolnshire have appealed for information about a missing couple and the boy they were looking after.

Four-year-old Kanan was in the foster care of Darren and Marcia Langton, who live in the Grosvenor Road area of Skegness.

He was due to be returned to Newham Children's Services on Tuesday, but the couple failed to meet social workers and are not at their home.

Police said that the Langtons are originally from the Doncaster area and they believe it is possible they could have travelled to other areas of the country.

Darren Langton is described as a white male, aged 40, of slim build with short dark hair. Marcia Langton, 46, is a black lady of average build with dark collar-length hair.

Kanan is described as being of dual heritage or mixed race, of slim build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

Detective Inspector Andy Wardell said: "We are now becoming anxious to trace these people and our absolute primary objective is to ensure the safe return of Kanan to children's services. We have concerns for Kanan's well being and are wishing to hear from anyone who has any information regarding his current whereabouts."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on: 0300 111 0300 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
