Call For Tesco Jobs To Be Secured

Sinn Féin Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile has expressed his disappointment at news that Tesco is to close two stores in East Belfast.

Mr Ó Donnghaile said: "This is devastating news for the staff affected but also for the local communities nearby.

"It is my hope that Tesco can relocate the staff in the affected stores to jobs within their existing stores across the East Belfast area.

"The job of investing in and providing services for our communities remains critical."
