Kildysart Village Couple Named

Gardaí investigating the deaths of a man and woman in Kildysart in west Clare have named the couple as 27-year-old Angelique Billing and her 44-year-old husband Cornelius.

A garda officers attending a fire in the village found Ms Billing collapsed in the street and went on to discover Mr Billing fatally injured in a nearby flat.

The results of post-mortem examinations are expected to be delivered today.

Gardaí are treating the incident as a "tragic domestic incident" and are trying to establish how the couple received their injuries.

Gardaí at Kildysart and Ennis are appealing for any information about the couple and the circumstances that led to last night's tragic events.

Elderly Couple Found Dead In Churchtown
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the bodies of an elderly man and woman in Churchtown, Dublin, on Monday night. Gardaí found the bodies after responding to a report of concern for the man and woman's welfare. The bodies have been removed to Tallaght Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Investigation After Elderly Couple Found Dead In Donegal Home
Gardaí have launched an investigation in County Donegal following the deaths of an elderly couple. The pair, discovered at a house in Fountain Terrace, Convoy, were last seen yesterday afternoon. The man was in his 80's and the woman in her 70's. A post-mortem examination will be carried out, but no suspicious circumstances are clear as yet.
