Motorcyclist Killed In Co Tipperary Road Accident

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have confirmed a motorcyclist has died following a road accident on Wednesday.

A man, aged in his 70s, was seriously injured in the collision at about 11:55 on Wednesday at Cloone Cross in Templemore.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at University Hospital Limerick.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact Templemore Garda Station on 0504 32630, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Two Women Arrested In Connection With Cow's Lane Death
Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of a man on Cow's Lane, Dublin on Thursday, 10 September. A man in his 20s died following a violent disorder incident last week. The two women, both aged in their early 20s, are the latest to be arrested as part of the investigation.

Garda Injured In Cork
A garda has been injured while on duty in Cork on Monday night. The sergeant has been treated in hospital but has been discharged. He was bringing a patient, aged in his 20s, to the Mercy University Hospital just after 6pm. The garda is based at Gurranabraher Garda Station.

Three Arrested In Airport Drug Probe
Two South African women and a Portuguese male have been arrested after a drug haul worth half a million Euro was seized at Dublin Airport. The arrests came following a large scale operation by the Santry Drugs Unit and the Revenue's Customs Service.
