Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident Near Mallow
Gardaí in Mallow have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident near the town.
A man died and two others were seriously injured in a two-car collision on the N20 between Buttevant and Mallow at about 18:40 on Monday.
Gardaí had closed the road last night to allow for a forensic examination to take place, and cautioned motorists that it may remain closed on Tuesday morning.
Any motorists who were travelling on the road at about the time of the accident, or who may have witnessed it, are asked to contact garda.

Mallow Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí on Mallow have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident in Kanturk, Co Cork, on Thursday morning. The collision occurred at Glen South, Naan, Kanturk at approximately 11.30am on the Kanturk/Banty to Cork Road and involved a car and a rigid truck. The 78-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí in Co Cork have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident in the early hours of Monday morning. It is understood that a 33-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a car at on the N25 on the Cork side of Castlemartyr at about 05:15 on 04 May. He was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
