Guns And Drugs Recovered In Tallaght During Weekend Searches
Five guns and drugs worth an estimated €250,000 have been recovered during a search of houses in Tallaght.
A search of two properties was carried out on Saturday morning by members of the Organised Crime Unit, the Garda National Drugs Unit, Crime and Security and the Emergency Response Unit, and local units from Tallaght.
Garda say that five guns, including magazines and a large quantity of ammunition, was recovered in the searches, along with herbal cannabis and ecstasy tablets.
Three arrests were made in connection with the finds – two women aged 32 and 33, and a 24-year-old male.
Gardaí say that their investigation is ongoing.

80 Arrested In Dublin Drug Operation
Some 80 arrests have been made in the past 48 hours in a mass drug operation in Dublin. Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit working closely with local Garda units from the greater Dublin area searched over 100 premises in the past 48 hours and arrested 80 people suspected of involvement in the sale and supply of Heroin and Cocaine.

A man has been arrested following an attempted arson attack on a Garda patrol vehicle outside a station in Dundalk. The incident occurred at around 11.10pm on Tuesday evening, 03 September, at Dundalk Garda Station. Officers exiting observed two males acting suspiciously at the rear of a parked drugs unit vehicle.
