Cork Man Dies Suddenly

Gardai in Cork are investigating the sudden death of a man in the city last night.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, is understood to have been escorted out of premises on Blarney Street.

The man suddenly fell ill and an ambulance crew tried to resusitate him but he died at the scene at around 1.30am.

Gardai are awaiting results of a post mortem although foul play is not expected.

They are also examining CCTV footage as part of their investigation.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

The body of a man in his 70s has been discovered in a car, which was concealed by trees, at a roundabout in Galway. The vehicle was seen by a member of the public on the Martin Roundabout on Thursday, 05 November. Gardai attended the scene where he was declared dead.

Investigation Into Longford Body Find
Gardai are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man whose body was discovered in Co. Longford on Sunday evening. It is understood that the body of the man was found in a housing estate near Kenagh. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Gardai Appeal For Missing Cork Man
Gardai are appealing for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing man from Cork. Colin Ronayne, 31, was last seen at College Road, Cork City at around 6am on Friday, 1 January. He is described as being 1.7 metres tall, of medium build with short dark hair.

Gardai Appeal For Information Into Death Of Man In Cork
Gardai are appealing for information into the death of a man in Co. Cork. The body of Peter Murphy, 37 years old, was discovered at his home at Shanavoher, Bweeng, Co. Cork on 7 February 2015. A post mortem examination carried out at Cork University Hospital established that Mr Murphy's injuries were inflicted as the result of an assault.
