Man Dies In Galway Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Galway.
The two-car collision happened on the main Gort to Ennis Road near the Galway-Clare border around 7:30am this morning.
The victim is understood to be the driver of one of the vehicles, while the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and has been taken to hospital.
Gardaí from Gort and Ennis are investigating the crash.
There was widespread traffic disruption as a result of the crash and a section of the N18 Ennis to Gort Road remained closed until around 3pm.

Man Dies In Overnight Road Crash
A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 31-year-old man has been killed in a road accident in Kilmore, Co Meath. The two car crash happened on the M4 westbound at approximately 1.25am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Naas General Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
