Body Found By Officers Investigating Abduction Of Jastine Valdez
Gardaí investigating the abduction of 24-year-old Jastine Valdez have discovered a body in the Pucks Castle area of Dublin
The body has not yet been formally identified but garda have appealed for privacy for the Valdez family.
Garda are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
The scene where the woman's body was discovered has been sealed pending a forensic examination.
It is currently believed that Ms Valdez was abducted as she walked to her home in Enniskerry on the evening of Saturday, 19 May by a man who has been named in the press as Mark Hennessy.
Garda are also continuing to investigate the background of Mr Hennessy, who was shot dead by officers on Sunday night at an industrial estate.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Man Arrested Over Dublin Body Find
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Dublin last week. The body of Kevin Molloy was found at his home in Glendhu Road in Cabra, Dublin, on Sunday 01 February. Investigating garda said they believed Mr Molloy's body had laid undiscovered for some time.

A search of the home and garden of a murdered former detective garda has entered its second day. Excavation work began on Tuesday morning of the back patio area, garda believe another body may be buried under it.

Body Discovered In Disused Building In Lucan
A body has been discovered by garda officers who were searching for a missing teenager. No formal identification has yet been made but it is understood that garda searching for 14-year-old Anastasia Kriegel, who has been missing since Monday 14 May, discovered a body in a disused building on the the Clonee Road, Lucan at about 1pm.

Garda investigating the death of Anthony Barrett have arrested a Kilkenny man. Mr Barrett, who was in his 40s and originally from Castlecomer, was found with fatal injuries at a house in Fatima Place on the evening of 7 March.
