Man's Body Found At Ranelagh Luas Station

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the body of a man in Ranelagh in Dublin.

The body of a 22-year-old man was found unresponsive at around 4.40am this morning, Monday 11 December, at the Luas stop on Ranelagh Road.

It is understood that the man had suffered head injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at St James' Hospital.

A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

The scene has been preserved and a forensic examination is due to be carried out.

A review of CCTV footage is being carried out by gardaí, however, it is understood that the death is not currently being treated as suspicious.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Man Arrested And Charged Over Burglary In Ranelagh
A man in his 30s has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary at a property in Dublin. Gardaí said a number of items were stolen during the robbery in Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6 on Wednesday, 01 November.
