Gardaí Investigating Shooting Incident
Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Ballymun, Dublin.
The incident occurred this morning, 07 December, during a planned search of a house in Barnwell Drive.
Two people have been injured – a Garda and male civilian.
Both were treated at the scene by Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade and have since been taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
GSOC have been notified of the incident.
No further information has been released, but investigations are ongoing.

Four people have appeared in court charged in connection with a post office robbery in Clogherhead, Co Louth. Three men, one armed with a firearm, entered a post office and threatened staff on 03 May. The suspects fled the scene with a large amount of cash.

A teenager has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Dublin. The incident occurred between 1:01am and 1:10am in Dublin 2 on Monday, 02 May, gardaí have said. An altercation occurred between a 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old male at the junction of Dame Lane and Trinity Street.

Waterford Sexual Assault Suspected Arrested
Gardaí investigating a serious sexual assault in Waterford city have arrested a man in his 20s. Garda say that the incident happened in the Millennium Plaza area of the city at about 4am on Sunday morning. A forensic examination of the scene on the quays was conducted on Sunday and garda say that their investigation is continuing.
