Drugs Worth €1m Seized In Co Offaly
Cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines worth an estimated €1m have been seized in an operation in Co Offaly.
The drugs were seized during a search operation at a house, sheds and lands in the Geashill area. During the search gardaí also recovered a number of weapons including a sawn-off shotgun, shotgun cartridges and a large quantity of 9mm ammunition.
A 34-year-old man, understood to be a foreign national, was arrested in connection with the seizures and remains in custody at Tullamore Garda Station.
The search operation is part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the area.

'Operation Stratus' Sees €40k Drugs Seized In Drogheda
Gardaí in Drogheda have recovered a haul of drugs worth €40,000 as part of 'Operation Stratus'. One individual has been arrested after the search at a house in the Hill View area of the town on Sunday 12 May. Officers recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €20k along with cannabis herb that has been valued at €22k, pending analysis.

Two separate Gardaí operations conducted yesterday have recovered almost half a million euro in illegal drugs. In the first operation last night, Gardaí from the North Central Drugs Unit in Dublin carried out a search of a car at Bellewstown Co Meath. During the course of the search, 3kg of Cocaine was discovered.

A woman has been arrested in connection with a large scale drug seizure in Co Roscommon. During a search operation at a house in the Lanesborough area, drugs worth approximately €100,000 were seized. The seizure included around 40 cannabis plants worth around €32,000, cannabis herb worth around €75,000 and €300 worth of cocaine.
