Body Discovered In Coolmine Woods Confirmed As Missing Woman

The body of a woman found at Coolmine Woods on 17 July has been confirmed as that of Linda Christian.

Gardaí had been searching for Ms Christian, also known as Linda Evans, had been reported missing on 24 June 2017.

A number of search operations had been carried out for Ms Christian, and the body was discovered by officers carrying out a search in Coolmine Woods.

Gardai issued a fresh appeal to any member of the public who may have seen Linda, but in particular any motorists (including motorcyclists) and cyclists who have dash cams or other mobile recording devices and who were in the vicinity of the Snugborough Road; Coolmine Industrial Estate; Clonsilla Road and Main Street, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 24 June 2017 to make contact with Blanchardstown Garda station on 01-6667000.

Dublin Student Dies On Kayaking Trip
A Dublin student has died while on a kayaking trip in Slovenia, the Department for Foreign Affairs has confirmed. He has been named as 20-year-old Conor Keleghan, from Coolmine, Blanchardstown, and was on a trip with Colaiste Dhulaigh. It is understood that Mr Keleghan got into difficulty while paddling in the Soca River on Sunday afternoon.
